People who experience cataracts, or a clouding of the lens, often undergo cataract to correct it. During this procedure, the surgeon removes the clouded natural lens and replaces it with an artificial lens. For most people, cataract surgery is a success and fully restores their vision to what it once was. Some people, however, experience side effects, including floaters.
